The Sammin Engineering team recently completed works at the Tramyard Exchange for Salamisso Developments.

Tramyard Exchange is a new apartment development, well located on a prominent corner site at the entrance to Meath Street in Dublin, close to Dublin's city centre. This three-storey building comprises 12 spacious apartments (one and two-bed). Tramyard Exchange is a superb example of combining the old and new of Ireland’s capital city, with a blended mix of contemporary internal and external finishes that respect and honour the look of the traditional building style in this iconic part of the city. The team at Sammin Engineering recently contributed to the €11 million construction of  a new six-storey 128-room student accommodation development at Grangegorman for Swuite. 

 

This was not the first project delivered for Swuite Student Accommodation providers, under main contractors Sheahan and Collins Construction, our team also contributed to the €5 million conversion of an existing office block into a state-of-the-art, 77-room student accommodation development at Bohermore in Galway for Swuite.

 

Swuite accommodation is high quality, professionally managed student apartments and ancillary facilities specifically designed for use by undergraduates, post-graduates and visiting academics. These fully-serviced apartments are complete with shared communal/social spaces and outdoor terrace areas.

The team at Sammin Engineering were proud to work on Solas Bhríde Centre and Hermitages in Kildare. Solas Bhríde is a Christian Spirituality Centre that welcomes people of all faiths and of no faith, dedicated to the teachings of St.Brigid.

 

This €3 million development involved the construction of teaching rooms, workshop spaces, an exhibition area and several self-contained hermitages (residential facilities) on the grounds. This A-rated centre was delivered using natural materials and employs natural methods of lighting and ventilation.

 

The scope of works for Sammin Engineering was as follows:

  • Security installation

  • Fire alarm system

  • PA system

  • External lighting

  • Wiring of mechanical services including ceiling heating

The electrical engineering team at Sammin were delighted to work on the delivery of St. Agnes Primary Care Centre on Armagh Road in Crumlin, Dublin 12 under main contractor McGill Construction
